Movement to Free the Body & The Mind

Qoya is a movement practice inspired by Rochelle Schieck’s lived experiences as a dancer, yoga teacher and devotee to Andean wisdom traditions.  Qoya combines dance, yoga, community and ceremonial opportunities invoking the body as compass and being led by the wisest truth as it lives in our bones.  Qoya is an opportunity to move and to be moved. Open to all.

‘I had so much energy yesterday and felt more connected to my core… A few times throughout the day I stopped and just moved/danced more freely, noticing more and more how each inch of my body felt. Very grounded. More flexible. Lighter. Tuned into my spine. I look forward to dancing throughout all of my days. Thank you so much for this offering, as much as I love dancing at home, dancing with other others was just next level. Looking forward to next month’s Qoya session!’ CM, Qoya Participant

‘Thank you for the experience of a new outlet for energy and introspection.’ KB, Qoya Participant
